Stop Having Panic Attacks by Adding Leverage

To stop having panic attacks, one of the most important actions you can take in overcoming your suffering is simply that of making a decision set in concrete to do so. After you have found a cure or plan that can help you to eliminate your panic attacks, it is integral to stick to that plan. It is an unfortunate fact then, that even though many sufferers do find a cure and are aware of what they have to do to overcome their problems, that they are still stuck with them. How is this possible?

The answer is that they have a lack of emotional leverage spurring them on to stop having panic attacks. This is because they don’t put in the effort to build additional leverage in order to drive them to success. It is estimated that approximately 80% of all goals aren’t reached – being able to make a solid decision and stick to it will prevent this.

Now that we understand the importance of leverage, how could we go about using its power? There are numerous simple ways to do so. One example of this is to imagine yourself some years in the future, if you were to keep having panic attacks at a more frequent pace. How does this affect your life? What affect does this have on your work, or the relationship with your family? This will give you lots of emotional backing to achieve a future where the situation is the exact opposite.

Another instance you could imagine yourself in is having a panic attack in a situation where it would be extremely embarrassing for you to do so. This will give you an emotionally powerful reminder to stick to achieving your goals, each and every time you seem to find your efforts slipping.

How many ways can you think of to create leverage to stop having panic attacks? Remember, there are countless ways, and you are only limited by just how creative you can get. There are a large number of panic attack sufferers who never achieve their goals of being free from them. This is because of a lack of a strong decision and an unwillingness to keep working at their cure; having a lot of leverage will change this.
